Refund and Returns Policy

Overview

At Method & Mind, we want customers to feel confident when purchasing from our online store. This policy explains how we manage refunds, returns and exchanges for our productivity kits, individual products, digital resources and membership services.

Our goal is to provide fair and practical support while recognising that some products, such as customised kits, personalised items and accessed digital content, may not be suitable for change of mind returns.

This policy does not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Customers are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund if a product is faulty, unsafe, not as described, or does not meet consumer guarantees.

Change of mind returns

We accept change of mind returns for eligible physical products within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is:

  • unused and in its original condition
  • returned with its original packaging
  • not damaged, written in, personalised or customised
  • accompanied by proof of purchase

Change of mind returns are not available for personalised items, opened journals, planners, habit trackers, downloadable products, digital resources or membership fees.

Return postage for change of mind returns is the customer’s responsibility. Original shipping fees are not refunded unless required under Australian Consumer Law.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

If your order arrives faulty, damaged, incomplete or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and photos of the issue.

Depending on the situation, we may offer a replacement, refund, repair or store credit. If the issue is covered under Australian Consumer Law, Method & Mind will cover reasonable return shipping costs.

Customised kits

Core Kits and Premium Kits may be curated from questionnaire results and customised before checkout. Because customised kits are selected based on customer preferences, we cannot accept change of mind returns for customised or personalised items unless the product is faulty, damaged, unsafe or not as described.

Digital products and membership

Digital resources, templates, short courses and membership access are non-refundable once access has been provided, unless required under Australian Consumer Law.

Customers may cancel their Method & Mind membership at any time. Cancellation will stop future billing, but it will not automatically refund previous membership payments.

Please include:

  • your full name
  • order number
  • item you want to return
  • reason for the return
  • photos, if the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect

We will review your request and provide instructions for the next steps.

Refund processing

Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method where possible. Please allow up to 5 to 10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider.
